My Sewing Space...

This is a t-shirt quilt that I recently finished as a custom order,  I just love the way it came out with all the purples, it practically sparkles.

This is what my main sewing area looks like.  At least this is where I sit to sew at the sewing machine.  I'm working on the hubs to recess the sewing machine into the table so I can sew for longer periods comfortably, but you know, everything is a process.  The plastic drawers under the table hold my bobbins, thread, thimbles, and things like that.  To the left of the ironing board is a huge bookshelf with quilting books on it.  The shelves to the right hold my bins with small pieces of fabric sorted by color.  I also have a few project boxes there, holding everything I need for a particular project (for example, all the food fabrics for canning jar quilts).

Behind me is the  Gammill longarm quilting machine (my most favorite toy!) and next to that is my desk with my computer and a large table where I keep projects waiting to quilt and projects ready to ship.  That's about it.  Nothing really fancy, but it works for me.
